Lore scratched into the wall.

Nobody knows exactly when the apartment became sentient. Purple Cate knows. Purple Cate is not telling.

Chapter 01: The Stare

Purple Cate began as an ordinary indoor cat with an extraordinary commitment to doing absolutely nothing. One late afternoon, while sitting between a radiator and a suspiciously swirly patch of olive wallpaper, the cat stared into the pattern for seven uninterrupted naps.

On the eighth nap, the spiral stared back. The room stretched. Yarn rolled uphill. Every cardboard box in the apartment briefly became the same cardboard box. Somewhere behind the wall, a tiny bell rang once.

From that day forward, Purple Cate could purr in a frequency that made timelines feel softer. Screens became windows. Memes became pawprints. The internet gained a new house cat, and the house cat gained a ticker: $PURCATE.

Chapter 02: The Catnap Circle

The first followers arrived quietly. A barista with paw-print cups. A librarian who catalogued only cat stories. A rooftop gardener growing suspiciously luminous catnip. They called themselves the Catnap Circle.

The Circle has no prophecy, no guaranteed destination and no sacred price target. Its only doctrine is simple: make the internet a little stranger, a little softer and considerably more purple.
